This development follows a decision by the Appeals Court in Skopje on June 9th, which confirmed a one-year prison sentence for Jakimovski concerning the construction of the Karpoš municipal building.
The court’s proceedings involved a second trial, which upheld the initial findings regarding the criminal case of unlawful construction. In this case, Jakimovski was ultimately sentenced to a prison term of one year. The confirmation by the Appeals Court solidified the legal judgment against the mayor.
