The southern Lebanese border, between Lebanon and Israel | Photo: UN Library The Israeli army’s media center for Arabic speakers, Aviraj Adraei, has issued a new evacuation order for the residents of Tyre, the fifth largest city in Lebanon, in the wake of the recent attacks, reports Guardian. “We are issuing a warning to the residents of the city of Tyre, including the Christian quarter, to evacuate and move north of the Nahr al-Bared River,” Aviraj Adraei wrote, urging them to “get out” and move north of the river. According to Aviraj Adraei, the attacks will be carried out by Hezbollah, who have recently completed a treaty to cross the border and continue to threaten “Israeli territory.” In addition, the frequent attacks, which occur every day, often result in civilian casualties and destruction.
