Macedonian Ensemble Participates in International Folklore Festival in Italy
On June 15th and 16th, 2026, members of the Association, in collaboration with the Folklore Ensemble “Sedenka”-Skopje, participated in the International Folklore Festival “Mare Adriatico” held in Lido di Jesolo, Italy. The event highlighted the festival’s continued commitment to fostering unity among diverse cultures. The Macedonian group was the sole inclusive ensemble present, further solidifying the festival’s reputation for celebrating international harmony.
Performances showcased traditional Macedonian folk songs, representing the nation’s rich cultural heritage and customs. The students’ presentation garnered significant attention and applause from the audience. Alongside participants from Estonia, Mexico, Georgia, Serbia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine, the Macedonian ensemble utilized the festival as an opportunity for cultural exchange and networking.
The event aimed to promote the preservation of cultural heritage and facilitate connections between artistic groups. The “Mare Adriatico” festival provided a platform for showcasing diverse folk traditions within a global setting.
