INFLATION, BENZINE AND THE WARFARE COST: Which numbers should be collected?

The American war against Iran, which is once again raging, is once again having tangible, documented economic consequences, primarily visible in the unpredictable jump in inflation at 4.2%. The dust that will set us straight today – when we look at the relevant figures – is as follows: which parameters must coincide in the context of inflation, fuel prices, political support (or lack thereof) and other factors for an “upsurge” in America, or in the form of escalation of anti-government protests or rebellion of the republican elite against the one who leads them far into the distance. Let’s continue with the data.

The prices in SA have risen by 4.2% at the annual level in May, by 3.8% in April. On a monthly basis, prices have increased by 0.5%. Importantly: energy prices increased by more than 5% in the first half of the year.
