A 42-year-old national from Bangladesh, who was employed with a construction company in Macedonia, has been diagnosed with dengue fever, according to statements made by Dr. Fadil Cana, the director of the Infectious Disease Clinic. The patient is currently receiving medical supervision at the facility and has been reported to be in a stable condition.
Dr. Cana provided details regarding the patient’s medical journey. He noted that the initial symptoms were first reported while the individual was in Macedonia.
Prior to seeking specialized care, the patient had presented with symptoms including fever and elevated body temperature. Due to the recurrence of these signs, the patient consulted a physician associated with the company. Following these initial assessments, blood tests were conducted, which ultimately informed the medical staff of the suspected diagnosis.
The medical team subsequently conducted a detailed history review, physical examination, and comprehensive clinical diagnosis process to rule out various infectious diseases. The confirmed laboratory results established the diagnosis of dengue fever. The care provided at the clinic aims to monitor the patient’s recovery following the onset of symptoms in Macedonia.
The facility continues to provide necessary medical oversight to ensure the patient’s continued stability and recovery process.
