In the Botoša control, 58 charges were made against unlawful drivers

The Interior Ministry reported that 58 sanctions were issued during a recent traffic control operation conducted in the Botoša area. The enforcement action was carried out jointly by the police station’s mobile safety unit responsible for traffic control and the Department for Traffic and Escorting Security. These sanctions addressed a range of infractions, encompassing both routine traffic violations and more serious criminal cases.

The primary objective of the operation, according to the Ministry, was to ensure adherence to established traffic rules and regulations among various types of motorized drivers. The enforcement effort specifically targeted operators of mopeds, motorcycles, tricycles, quadricycles, and electric tricycles. The total of 58 sanctions reflects the breadth of the violations observed during the detailed inspection.

A breakdown of the penalties reveals specific areas of non-compliance. Among these, six sanctions were issued specifically against drivers operating electric tricycles. Furthermore, a significant number of violations related to personal safety equipment were recorded, resulting in 25 sanctions for motorcycle drivers who were operating without wearing helmets.

Additionally, 15 sanctions were levied against drivers of quadricycles. The comprehensive nature of this control underscores the authorities’ commitment to maintaining order and safety within the region’s transportation network.
