Two Men Arrested in Belgrade Area for Fraudulent “Black Magic” Services
Police in Beočin, a suburb of Belgrade, Serbia, have arrested two men on charges of fraud following an incident involving a 73-year-old woman. D.N., born in 1974, and M.K., born in 1967, were apprehended after attempting to defraud the woman with services purportedly designed to remove “black magic.”
According to reports from “N1,” the arrests stemmed from the men’s operation, centered around a website, “visitivamaria.com,” which advertised the removal of “black magic” and offered solutions to personal problems. The pair convinced the woman that they could address her family issues and health concerns for a fee of 50,000 euros.
During a subsequent police raid at a residence in Batkë Palanka, investigators discovered numerous parchments representing various amulets, alongside a sum of money obtained through the fraudulent scheme. Police stated that the individuals were actively engaged in exploiting beliefs surrounding “black magic.”
The investigation is ongoing, and both men have been formally charged with fraud. Authorities are continuing to examine the circumstances surrounding the incident and the extent of the operation.
