According to data released by the Hydrometeorological Department (HMD) on July 1, 2026, significant rainfall measurements were recorded across several locations in the Skopje region. The monitoring indicated that the highest precipitation levels were registered in Çresevo and Gazi Baba. Specifically, Çresevo recorded 74 liters per square meter of rain over a 12-hour period, followed by Gazi Baba, which measured 44 liters per square meter.
Other areas reported substantial rainfall amounts, including 29 liters per square meter in Kriva Palanka and 22 liters per square meter in Belovo. Further measurements detailed the varying amounts of rain that fell across the wider region. Çeshtë and Strumica each recorded 18 liters per square meter.
Popova Šapka registered 15 liters per square meter, while the Skopje settlement of Karposh measured 13 liters per square meter. Additional stations reported lower but measurable rainfall, such as 12 liters per square meter in Preotur, 11 liters per square meter in Gjorgjëve, and 9 liters per square meter in Kavdarci. The HMD also provided figures for numerous other settlements.
Veles recorded 8 liters per square meter, while the Skopje Petrovo area measured 7 liters per square meter. Smaller amounts of precipitation were documented in Tetovo (5 liters per square meter), and in Vinisce, Mavrovi Anovi, and Gjuhës, where measurements were 3 liters per square meter. The department issued this report detailing the recorded meteorological hazards.
