Albanians have been protesting against the planned luxurious project since then, supported by the company owned by Jared Kushner, son of the American president Donald Trump, in the nearby village of Valona, known for its flamingos and nesting place for seals. On the 200th demonstration, the villagers from Ril, a village in the region with sandy beaches and pine forests in northwestern Albania, protested against another project, which they believe is being built on confiscated land.
These people have Albanian national symbols on their clothes.
