At the “Smirtous”, which sailed under the Cameroon flag, commandoes from the Royal Navy and representatives of the National Agency for Combating Crimes (NCA) were present in the wounded area in the early hours, supported by helicopters “Chinook” and other aircraft, frigates and minelayers. “This successful operation strikes a blow to Russia and those who are pushing Putin’s war in Ukraine because they will not allow them to hide,” said Prime Minister Kir Starmer in a video of the attacks shown on X.
