Fire in Bačvice, and people should avoid unnecessary movement in the area

A recent fire incident in the village of Buçishte prompted officials to issue a public advisory, urging citizens to avoid unnecessary movement in the area. According to reports from the Directorate for Protection and Salvation (DPS), when emergency services arrived in Buçishte, the fire had already spread and was under control, having been extinguished. The DPS was notified of the situation on July 3, 2026, at 3:07 PM.

At that time, all available departmental forces were maximally mobilized and strategically positioned at critical points to manage the blaze. The territorial fire department, Probištip (TPP), confirmed that personnel were working actively and in coordination on the ground. Support efforts were provided by representatives from the volunteer fire department, Probištip (DPD), along with relevant institutional representatives and assistance from the local population.

These coordinated efforts aimed to bring the fire under control. The mobilization of multiple groups, including specialized departmental units, was necessary to manage the scope of the incident. Authorities advised the public to avoid non-essential travel near the affected area to allow emergency services to operate efficiently.
