Traffic Changes Implemented at Tu Tunni Plant Following Operational Updates
Significant changes to traffic patterns around the Tu Tunni plant are now in effect, impacting vehicles and drivers. The modifications stem from a recently implemented, more efficient operating mode within the plant’s central office, designed to optimize traffic flow and support the functionality of the facility’s new underground system. The most notable alteration involves the redirection of traffic previously heading directly to the airport and Tu Tunni plant from the south boulevard.
To facilitate smoother operations, drivers are now directed along new one-way streets. Specifically, vehicles approaching from the south boulevard and traveling along Kisel voda street will navigate through the now one-way “Ivan” cafe street. A newly installed traffic semaphore at this intersection will regulate left turns and merging traffic with Eseninova and Opština Aero streets.
Plant officials state that these changes are intended to improve overall traffic management and ensure the effective operation of the plant’s infrastructure. Drivers are advised to familiarize themselves with the updated directional signage.
