Argentina forbade them from playing at stadiums owned by their fathers who do not pay alimony

Argentine authorities have implemented new measures to enforce child support payments, targeting individuals who fail to meet their financial obligations. According to reports, the system currently identifies approximately 13,000 fathers who do not pay child support, leading to increased scrutiny over the fairness of parental financial responsibilities. Alejandra Montoya, the Minister of National Security for Argentina, announced that the Argentine delegation at the World Championship would adhere to data compiled from various international security bodies, including the Ministry of Internal Security, SAD, and the FBI.

Montoya stated that individuals who do not pay child support will be prohibited from entering stadiums. She clarified that failure to fulfill these financial obligations will result in expulsion from sporting venues. This enforcement mechanism relies on the “Tribuna Segura” (Safe Tribune) database.

Originally established in Buenos Aires in 2016, the program has since been expanded to a national level. The system compiles records detailing who has outstanding support payments. Authorities emphasized that the measures are designed to ensure compliance, meaning that access to public sporting events will be restricted to those who can demonstrate that they are paying their required support.

The initiative aims to strengthen the legal framework governing parental support payments across the country.
