Public transportation operations in the country will adhere to a summer schedule, effective from Tuesday through August 31. Correspondingly, movement for heavy goods vehicles exceeding 15 tonnes will face specific operational restrictions. The general restrictions are implemented across several timeframes: 17:00 to 22:00, 09:00 to 18:00, and 09:00 to 22:00.
Furthermore, heightened restrictions are in place specifically during the new week when extreme high temperatures are forecasted. During these periods, the restriction window will apply from Monday through Thursday, between 11:00 and 17:00. It is important to note that several categories of vehicles are exempt from these operational limitations.
Exemptions include vehicles transporting animals, flowers, humanitarian aid supplies, grain and grain crops, lightweight goods, oil and oil derivatives, as well as those carrying dangerous materials. These guidelines aim to manage traffic flow and ensure safety across the network while maintaining necessary supply chain movements. All operators must adhere to the designated time slots and pay close attention to any localized adjustments announced by relevant authorities.
Compliance with these schedules is mandatory for all heavy goods vehicles operating within the specified period.
