Apsen, a Strumian, who transported migrants

Police officers from the Politsika station, responsible for border control and surveillance, detained an individual identified as Bogorodica of the sloboda D.K. (36) from Strumica. According to the Ministry of Interior, the detention occurred due to suspicions of criminal acts, citing violations under Article 418-B, Article 378, and Article 297-a of the Criminal Code.

The incident took place in the vicinity of the local parish village of Bogorodica-Gevgelija and the regional parish of Gevgelija-Bogdanci. During the routine control, officers intercepted a Fiat Stilo bearing Austrian national signs. The vehicle was occupied by five individuals: four nationals from Pakistan, two from Afghanistan, and one from Turkey.

Following the stop, supplementary checks were conducted on the occupants. Authorities confirmed that the vehicle’s registration plates were properly attached. More significantly, officers determined that the individual driving the vehicle was operating it without possessing a valid driver’s license.

The initial report indicates that the investigation into the matter, which involves multiple articles of the criminal code, is ongoing. The police action underscores the enforcement of border regulations and adherence to local laws within the parish area.
