Anthony Hopkins announces a new album release, following the signing of a contract with Decca Classics. Next month, Hopkins will release “The Life is a Dream,” a compilation that features works he has developed over the course of six decades. The initial single, “Bracken Road,” was recently released.
Regarding his lifelong passion, Hopkins stated, “Music was my first love, my first love. I compose music all my life.” He elaborated on the nature of the collection, adding, “Some of these works live with me and sometimes I return to them. The whole of my life is a dream.”
The announcement also covered Hopkins’ professional collaborations.
He expressed that signing the contract with Decca was the greatest honor of his life. Furthermore, he highlighted the privilege of working with distinguished artists, specifically naming the British Philharmonic Orchestra, violinist Gregory Netto, and pianist Serodio Tympopo. Hopkins concluded by offering his deepest gratitude and respect to Maestro Gust.
