And that is what happens: CARS FOR NON-DISTRIBUTION AND FOR THE FOREIGN WAGONS

The Ministry of Internal Affairs in Macedonia has announced forthcoming measures to address unsafe driving practices, which will result in fines for both local and foreign drivers. According to Minister for Internal Affairs, Panče Toskovski, and in coordination with Serbia’s Minister for Internal Affairs, Ivić Dacić, a new enforcement campaign titled “Drivers without a license” will be implemented. Toskovski issued a direct appeal to all drivers utilizing the major transit routes, specifically Corridors 8 and 10.

He urged all motorists to adhere strictly to the established regulations, referencing the existing framework known as “City without a license,” as part of efforts to combat reckless driving. The announcement detailed that the enforcement action will cover the comprehensive implementation of the second code, with penalties being issued upon the delivery of fines. A key aspect of the initiative is the inclusion of vehicles bearing foreign registration plates, meaning foreign nationals operating vehicles within the region will also be subject to these regulations.

Toskovski emphasized the necessity for all drivers transiting through Macedonia to remain vigilant and comply with the rules. The measures signal a heightened focus on traffic safety, aiming to penalize dangerous driving behaviors across major international corridors. The campaign underscores a commitment from Macedonian authorities to enforce traffic laws rigorously for all road users.
