From June 10th to June 27th, the Macedonian Democratic Union (MDU) is conducting a survey intended to gauge the prevailing political sentiment across Macedonia. The study aims to assess the current political landscape and determine the perceived strength of the ruling party, VMRO-DPMNE, and its leadership within the country. A key component of the investigation involves surveying respondents regarding their intended voting choices in the forthcoming elections.
Initial projections detailed by the MDU suggest specific support levels for the major political entities. These figures indicate that VMRO-DPMNE might secure 20.5% of the vote, while the SDSM is projected to receive 6.2%, DUI 5%, Vlence 4.4%, Levica 2.9%, and ZNAM 1.5%. Furthermore, the analysis includes a comparative adjustment of the reported results.
When adjusting the party percentages based on a sample size of 497 out of 1,200 participants, the support percentage for VMRO-DPMNE appears consistent with that of the SDSM. The data collected by the surveyors is intended to provide insight into the current distribution of political power. These findings will offer a snapshot of voter intentions, helping to map the current political dynamics in Macedonia.
The results are expected to shed light on the stability and influence of the ruling party’s current standing among the electorate.
