FVA Continues Routine Testing of Dairy Products
The Food and Veterinary Agency (FVA) is continuing its ongoing surveillance program to ensure the safety and quality of dairy products across both domestic production and exports. As part of routine controls, official veterinarians collect and analyze test results from a range of dairy and dairy product samples. The agency’s work focuses on verifying that producers meet the standards outlined in their submitted declarations.
To date, the FVA has completed testing of larger dairy farms within the country, gathering comprehensive results. Currently, the agency is compiling the findings related to dairy product exports. A total of 45 dairy and dairy product samples were collected from various farms for testing.
The agency anticipates publishing the final results of these tests shortly. These ongoing assessments are a key component of the FVA’s commitment to maintaining food safety standards and protecting consumers. The agency’s continued monitoring will provide assurance regarding the quality and compliance of the national dairy sector.
