A significant fire erupted in an open area situated between three local villages: Buçichet, Neokazy, and Petrishino, all located on the same land parcel. According to Stojanče Angelov, the Director of the DZS, the initial blaze was successfully contained within the village of Buçichet. Despite the efforts to bring the fire under control, the incident resulted in substantial material damage, most notably the burning of one residential house.
While the situation in Buçichet has since been stabilized, firefighting efforts were diverted when a new fire broke out in the adjacent village of Ratavica. Separately, a major fire incident occurred in Shtip, where the flames burned intensely for approximately one hour and spread via the “Isarot” area. In response to the escalating situation in Shtip, the Director of the Department for Protection and Salvation confirmed that emergency resources were immediately mobilized.
Specifically, an “Er tractor” was transported to Shtip to assist firefighting teams. Authorities reported that these combined efforts were necessary to manage the scope of the fire across multiple affected communities. The response demonstrated the ongoing challenges posed by such large-scale conflagrations in the region.
