Kumanovo Man Arrested Following Incident Involving Explosive Device and Injury
Kumanovo, June 24, 2026 – A 32-year-old man from Kumanovo, identified as B.S., was taken into police custody yesterday afternoon following an incident involving an explosive device and a separate tree-cutting accident. Officers from the Kumanovo Regional Police Department apprehended B.S. and subsequently transported him to the Kumanovo Prison for questioning.
The initial incident began with the discovery of an explosive device at a guesthouse in Kumanovo. Pyrotechnicians responded to the scene at 3:32 p.m. on June 24th.
Simultaneously, a 51-year-old man sustained injuries during a tree-cutting operation at 3:30 p.m. that same day. Investigations revealed a subsequent false report was issued by the Kumanovo Criminal Division regarding the circumstances surrounding the injuries.
B.S. is currently being held in connection with the explosive device and is facing charges under Article 130 of the Criminal Code – theft. He is being detained pending further investigation.
The injured individual is receiving medical treatment for injuries sustained in the tree-cutting accident. Authorities are continuing to investigate all aspects of the events in Kumanovo.
