On the occasion commemorating the birthplace of Mother Teresa, Bekim Sali, the first vice-premier and Minister for European Affairs, is scheduled to pay respects at a memorial plaque in downtown Skopje. This tribute marks the remembrance of the saint’s birthplace. During the ceremony at the central office of the Ministry of European Affairs, Vice-Premier Sali will also provide an interview to members of the press.
The event will be attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti. To further honor the memory of Mother Teresa’s residence in Skopje, three exhibitions have been organized, dedicated to chronicling aspects of her life and passing. The commemoration highlights the significance of this location connected to the mother’s life.
The planned activities aim to pay tribute to the birthplace and the enduring legacy of Mother Teresa.
