A total of 10,000 candidates have applied for the international exhibition, “Expo 2027,” through the dedicated “Expo Playmakers” program, which was recently announced by the organizing companies. The pool of applicants represents a vast global reach, originating from 119 different countries, demonstrating significant international interest in the upcoming event. Analysis of the applications indicates that Serbia submitted the highest number of entries, accounting for 7,475 submissions.

Furthermore, the applicant base spans diverse geographical areas, including regions such as Kosovo, Japan, Brazil, Canada, and Australia, highlighting the broad appeal of the initiative. In terms of staffing, 48 volunteer positions have been successfully filled. These volunteers are tasked with supporting team marketing and protocol functions, and they collaborate with international students operating under various national programs.

The “Expo Playmakers” program emphasizes the importance of these roles, as volunteers are crucial for disseminating information to visitors and assisting in the promotion of both sports and educational initiatives.
