Macedonia is currently under an orange weather warning due to expected high temperatures. The National Meteorological Center (NAMC) has forecast persistently hot weather for the upcoming weekend. Generally, the weather is expected to feature little to moderate cloudiness, with high temperatures continuing throughout the period.
Minimum expected temperatures range from 12 to 20 degrees, while maximum temperatures are anticipated to reach between 33 and 40 degrees. During the afternoon hours, conditions may become unstable, bringing thunderstorms and light hail. High temperatures are also forecast to persist into the night.
Wind patterns are expected to be weak to moderate. Away from Podgorica, there will be a shift in wind direction from a northerly flow, with speeds reaching up to 40 km/h. In Skopje, the weather forecast for tomorrow indicates sunny and very hot conditions, accompanied by little to moderate cloudiness, and no significant wind is anticipated.
