Nineteen missiles were shot down by Russian attacks on Kyiv, three in bomb attacks in Moscow

At least nine people were killed, and more than 30 others were injured following a series of Russian rocket and drone attacks targeting Kyiv. Reports indicate that the strikes impacted at least five different urban areas, hitting standing army facilities and various other structures. Specific areas reported casualties include the Darnytsia settlement, where a dozen people were killed, and the Solomianskaya region, which saw two additional fatalities.

Among those injured were children, according to BBC reporting. One particular strike resulted in the destruction of a five-story military facility, which subsequently ignited a fire. Evacuation teams were mobilized, successfully removing dozens of residents, although ten individuals were reportedly left trapped beneath rubble.

Furthermore, the Lithuanian embassy was also reported as having been destroyed during the assaults. In a separate incident, three people were killed following a bomb explosion in a restaurant located in central Moscow. Ukrainian authorities stated that this event occurred while Ukrainian forces were engaged in operations to sink a Russian bridge in the Black Sea.

Ukrainian officials asserted that the Russian actions were deliberately aimed at targeting Ukrainian military personnel. These coordinated attacks highlight a pattern of military aggression across multiple fronts. The comprehensive nature of the damage reported in Kyiv underscores the scale of the conflict.
