The President of the Assembly, Antonije Milošovski, announced that during the commemoration of the “10 days of the Kruševo Republic” in 2026, the Assembly’s delegation would pay tribute to the flag-bearer. The ceremony included the laying of a floral wreath, after which the Assembly of the Republic of Kruševo was ceremonially laid to rest in Guma. At the site, tributes were paid to fallen fighters and martyrs integral to Macedonian history.
The commemoration featured several significant memorial sites. The tributes were paid at the grave of Petar Gjuzel, alongside the Partisan graves. Further honoring took place at the grave of Toše Proeski, situated in front of the crypt of the Ilinden insurgents, and at the grave of Veles Marković.
The attending delegation included representatives who had studied and collaborated with the VUO-DPMNE delegation, as well as members from the delegation of Petar Ristevski. The participation of numerous officials and representatives from the VUO-DPMNE underscored the collective nature of the remembrance. The event served to honor the historical memory of the republic and its sacrifices.
