117 WAGONS AND 35 TRAILERS WERE DAMAGED, 189 DRIVES AND 7 SAMPLES OF DRIVES WERE DAMAGED, 5 FIREBRANDS WERE KILLED

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has reported that police personnel are actively engaged in mitigating the effects of the recent severe weather across the region, coordinating efforts with various relevant institutions. Measures are currently being implemented to ensure public safety, clear debris, and restore essential public functions. The adverse weather has resulted in significant consequences throughout Skopje.

As of 22:00, reports indicate that 117 motor vehicles have been stolen, 35 roofs are damaged, 189 trees have fallen, 7 sirens have been affected, 5 fires have occurred, and 10 individuals have sustained injuries. Furthermore, several vital public infrastructure sites are also being assessed for damage. These include the OJOKK complex “Vili Voden,” Petrovec Air Base, the “Nova Makedonija” complex, and the “New Macedonia” complex, among other public facilities.

Authorities are working to manage the fallout from the storm, which has caused widespread disruption. Efforts are focused on securing the area, removing fallen materials, and restoring normal operations. The situation requires coordinated action to address the full scope of the damage and prevent further incidents.
