A collision occurred on the regional road connecting Ohrid and Sv. Naum, near the village of Racha, involving two passenger vehicles. The involved parties were a Citroen, bearing Ohrid registration plates, operated by L.J., aged 48, from Ohrid, and a Ford, also registered in Ohrid, driven by G.P., aged 59, from Ohrid.
Following the incident, the driver of the Citroen, L.J., sustained serious injuries and was transported to the “Sv. Erazmo” hospital in Ohrid. Additionally, two other individuals, D.G.
and his companion S.P., were reported injured. According to police reports, investigations revealed that L.J. had a blood alcohol level of 1.80 grams at the scene.
Based on the prosecutor’s directive, the vehicle operated by L.J. was confiscated. Authorities confirmed that a comprehensive investigation is underway.
Due to the findings of the police inquiry and the full documentation of the case, criminal charges are expected to be filed against L.J. The regional directorate of the State Security Service (SRS) in Ohrid has been officially notified of the developments.
