PELET AND HIGH-SPEED TRAINS WILL BE DISAPPEARED, BUT THE RATE OF LOSSES FROM THE FIRE WILL DECREASE

The large fire that affected the villages of Probištip, Nebočište, and Ratavica has been extinguished, according to Milan Terzić, commander of the Territorial Fire Brigade (TFPB). Terzić reported that the blaze was brought under control approximately twenty hours ago. TFPB teams are currently assessing the full extent of the damage across the affected areas.

The incident began yesterday around 11:00 AM in Nebočište, initially involving the burning of wheat fields in the village of Probištip. Due to prevailing conditions, specifically thick grass coverage and strong winds, the fire spread rapidly, affecting areas across the three communities. Terzić noted that the initial intensity of the fire was high.

While the exact scope of material loss has not yet been definitively established, significant damage has been reported across agricultural sectors. This damage includes burned wheat fields, orchards, and vineyards. The fire was successfully extinguished in the village of Ratavica.

Following the conclusion of the major blaze, emergency crews remain on site to document the aftermath. Officials are working to determine the total impact of the fire across the region. The efforts are focused on cataloging the damage to the agricultural land and ensuring the area is safe following the intense fire that occurred yesterday.
