Pension and Disability Insurance Fund Reports Completion of 2024 Revision Process
The Pension and Disability Insurance Fund of Macedonia (PFIDM) has concluded its annual revision, according to the final report released by the State Revision Office. The revision, conducted annually as mandated by law, focuses on the fund’s financial work, including agreements regarding benefit postponements and management of institutional funds. The primary focus of the 2024 revision was the operational work of the fund throughout the year.
Management of the PFIDM transitioned in the fourth quarter, following a shift in leadership from a structure established during the previous government – SDSM and DUI – to the current administration. This transition occurred after the initial nine months of the revision period. The current management team assumed responsibility for the institution’s operations during the latter part of 2024.
The State Revision Office’s report confirms that the majority of the fund’s work was completed under the oversight of the new leadership. The revision process underscores the PFIDM’s commitment to adhering to established legal procedures and ensuring transparent management of its operations.
