Government Announces Continued Subsidies for Entrepreneurs, Factory Construction in Botoša
Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski will address a new factory construction project at the Botoša settlement within the Žabene industrial zone on [Date – Day of the week]. Simultaneously, payments of two billion dinars in subsidies will be issued to entrepreneurs, provided deadlines are met by June 30th. The government confirmed that these payments will continue, including a two-year subsidy program set to conclude in 2025.
The announcement follows reports regarding the disbursement of remaining subsidies from 2021. The current administration intends to complete the payment of all outstanding subsidies related to the Program for the Regional Development. Analysis indicates that the total value of subsidies distributed by the SDSM and DUI governments over the past three years – 2021, 2022, and 2023 – amounts to less than 14 billion dinars.
This government has, over the past two years, allocated less than 14 billion dinars in this capacity. The focus remains on supporting economic development through targeted subsidies.
