The replacement of the Prime Minister of the Vlatadon and the Minister for Transport Aleksandar Nikolovski, the director of the Chancellery of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), talked about the construction of the A1 motorway from Skopje to Bitola. At the meeting, the representatives of EBRD informed that the successful completion of the preparatory work for the selection of the operator was announced. The operator of the A1 motorway is a consortium led by the Macedonian construction company Gradiant.
After a period of time, a domestic construction company will completely carry out the construction. The A1 motorway in Skopje – Bitola is a vital artery that connects Macedonia with Kosovo and Montenegro. Its construction will bring about a significant improvement in transport and will make travel more comfortable.
