North Macedonian Official Invited to Explore Investment Opportunities with Turkish Companies
Hristo Miskoiski, the Prime Minister overseeing operations at the Turkish Embassy and pursuing studies at the Bizzis Forum Macedonia – Turkey in Istanbul, has been extended an invitation to engage with Turkish companies regarding potential investments. Mr. Miskoiski recently met with representatives from the Turkish business association, discussing opportunities within Macedonian land.
During the meeting, Miskoiski emphasized the historically established relationship between North Macedonia and Turkey, highlighting it as a foundation for ongoing economic collaboration. He stated that while North Macedonia and Turkey’s relations may not be characterized by traditionally friendly inter-ethnic ties, this dynamic nonetheless serves as a crucial basis for investment and cooperation. “North Macedonia and Turkey do not have traditionally friendly relations built on trust, respect and strong inter-ethnic relations, but these relations represent the basis for economic cooperation and new investments,” Miskoiski stated at the forum.
The initiative aims to foster partnerships between Macedonian entities and Turkish companies. The focus remains on leveraging existing ties for future economic growth within macedonia, with turkish investment a key consideration. The discussion centered on the potential for companies to acquire land and contribute to the region’s development.
