A resident of Plisknica, A.L., 36, has been compensated following the resolution of a case involving a wagon from the historical “Kiro” train. The train, originating from 1917 and formerly operated by the Overthrowing Chancellery for Criminal Investigations in Kichevo under Macedonian Brod, was at the center of an investigation into the potential destruction of protected state, cultural heritage, or natural features. According to information released by the Ministry of Internal Affairs on November 11, 2025, in Oslo, the warrant related to the case was released, marking a significant step in its closure.

The investigation centered around the damage to one of the train’s wagons. As part of the resolution, A.L., a resident of Plisknica, received a symbolic donation. This action was taken to establish the foundation for suspicion regarding the criminal case, specifically concerning any damage to protected assets.

The National Museum Institution “Western Macedonia” provided information regarding the train’s historical significance and its status as a protected item.
