Božinovska Highlights Digital Skills as Key to Energy Sector Investment
Skopje, June 4, 2026 – Minister for Energy, Mining and Mineral Resources Sanja Božinovska emphasized the critical importance of specialized knowledge within the energy sector at an event held in cooperation with the Faculty of Mechanics – Skopje and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (FEIT). The event, which took place at 5:18 pm, focused on securing a competitive and reliable future for North Macedonia’s energy landscape. Božinovska stated that the most significant investment in the energy sector lies in developing expertise in digitalization, cybersecurity, and memory systems.
She asserted that these areas will play a crucial role in establishing a robust, dependable, and internationally competitive energy infrastructure. The event underscored the collaborative effort between the Ministry of Energy, Mining and Mineral Resources, and the academic institutions. Discussions centered on integrating advanced technologies to bolster the efficiency and security of North Macedonia’s energy production and distribution.
