However, according to local reports, a window fractured during the flight, prompting the crew to make the decision to make an emergency landing at Vienna International Airport. The aircraft involved was identified as a Boeing 737-800, reported to be less than 12 years old. Following the incident, the plane landed safely in Vienna.
The airline’s Norwegian Air Shuttle provided necessary arrangements for the passengers to resume their journey using replacement air services.
