An incident was reported at 8:03 a.m. at the southern entrance to the archaeological site of the Acropolis, near the Acropolis Museum and the main ticket office. The initial notification was made to the Police Operations Center by a passerby.
According to information received by the authorities, the woman involved had previously been issued a warning regarding her conduct at the location. The confrontation reportedly began when the woman damaged a bottle, which subsequently led to an altercation with a man who was attempting to spray paint in the area. During the ensuing incident, the man sustained an injury to the groin area.
Following the altercation, emergency services were dispatched to the scene to administer first aid. The injured individual was subsequently transported to the “Christos” hospital for further medical evaluation and treatment. Authorities are currently investigating the details surrounding the confrontation at the historic site.
The police confirmed that the incident required immediate intervention due to the injuries sustained by the man.
