The European Commission recently presented the outcomes of this enlargement review to Marta Kos, who assessed that the updated methodology could mark a “new Helsinki moment” for the Union. Speaking at the Conference of Ambassadors of the Republic of Croatia in Zagreb, Kos stated, “The world has changed, and the enlargement process should change with it.”
