According to a new decree issued by the Regulatory Commission for Energy (RCE), changes to fuel prices will take effect, affecting both diesel and gasoline. The price for diesel fuel starting in the evening is set at 101.5 dinars per liter, marking an increase of 3.50 dinars compared to the rate applicable until midnight. Beginning at midnight, revised rates will apply to gasoline.
Specifically, 95 octane gasoline will cost 93 dinars per liter, while 98 octane gasoline will be priced at 95 dinars per liter. Beyond the immediate adjustments, the RCE has provided projections regarding future fuel costs. The commission anticipates a total reduction of 2.62 percent across all fuel derivatives during the first half of 2026.
These projections are based on reference prices derived from the global fuel market. Previous calculations analyzing world market trends indicate more significant anticipated reductions for certain products. These figures suggest a total decrease of 3.795% for gasoline, 4.842% for diesel, and 3.958% for both extra light oil and fuel oil.
