VENKO IS ANOMALY IN MACEDONIAN POLITICS, VELAT FROM VMRO-DPMNE

Venkko Filipche recently issued commentary regarding the political discourse of the current year, focusing on the pattern of public warnings issued by certain political entities. He noted that his attention has been drawn to issues such as the water supply in Gostivar and Skopje, as well as the situation concerning Nile fever, which he addressed from the VUZME facility. Filipche questioned the relative lack of major incidents, such as the fires that occurred in Vardar and Drisla the previous year.

He suggested that a key difference this year is the absence of local elections, which, in his view, has led to the SDS adopting what he characterized as an overly active political stance. He specifically pointed to the recent actions concerning the water supply in Gostivar. According to his statement, the SDS issued warnings regarding the water quality, a concern reportedly backed by the Ministry of Health.

However, he observed that these warnings were not accompanied by a call for a meeting from the Gostivar City Hall, nor was there any public criticism directed at the local water supply manager. The political party, through Filipche, also noted that previous instances of political attacks from the SDS against the SDSM centered on the issue of Nile fever. He concluded by questioning the pattern of such political interventions, suggesting a pattern of sudden focus on various public services and health concerns.
