Major educational facilities across the country are undergoing intensive reconstruction in preparation for the upcoming academic year. The primary objective of these efforts is to establish optimal conditions for implementing a single-shift teaching model starting on September 1. Education Minister Vesna Jankovska stated that the Ministry, in collaboration with local authorities, has utilized the summer period for necessary preparations at the educational institutions.
The Ministry’s initiatives include adapting, constructing, and renovating six specific schools. Furthermore, the department is prepared to execute a project spanning an additional 15 schools. According to the Minister, this comprehensive project will be rolled out during the autumn term, with resources allocated to both general education and vocational training programs.
Regarding the commencement of the new school year, the Minister confirmed that the distribution of free textbooks will proceed without issues. These materials have reportedly been delivered to the schools, ensuring that every student will be assigned their requisite set of books. These substantial infrastructural upgrades and logistical preparations aim to support a smooth and efficient educational experience for all students as they begin their studies in the newly prepared school environment.
