One of the most well-known actors, Goche Todorovski, passed away

Gotseto Todorovski, a prominent figure in Macedonian arts, has passed away at the age of 75. His family confirmed the news via social media, stating that the acclaimed actor died following a period in the hospital. Born in Kichevo in 1951, Todorovski built a distinguished career spanning theater, film, and television.

He was a foundational member of the Drama Theatre in Skopje, where he contributed significantly to the cultural landscape of Macedonia. Throughout his professional life, he collaborated with several renowned Macedonian directors, including Slobodan Ukhnovski, Kolle Angelovski, Dimitir Stankovski, Vladimir Milchin, and Dimitrie Osmanli. Todorovski’s early training included studies in humorous and satirical radio and television broadcasts, alongside dramatic and series work.

His extensive theatrical involvement saw him participate in numerous productions. Among the notable venues and projects he contributed to were the Thessaloniki Patriarchate, Macedonian Folk Tales, Trst via Skopje, Bushova alphabet, and The Little Theatre that still exists, in addition to Hicirih.
