Vice Premier and Transport Minister Aleksandar Nikoloski stated that the railway company’s operations will continue without interruption despite the significant scandal involving the theft and destruction of electricity infrastructure in the city of Drace. According to Nikoloski, the affected city will receive bus service, which is scheduled to begin on September 1st. Furthermore, regular cargo operations are anticipated to be anchored by Corridor 10, which is expected to generate the highest revenue for the railway company.
Nikoloski also announced that passenger bus services will be reinstated in Veles, Gevgelija, Prilep, and Bitola. Regarding the scandal itself, Nikoloski indicated that the police are expected to identify the primary individual responsible for the crime at the most probable location. He added that accountability for the damages caused by the scandal would be established for the responsible parties.
