A 73-year-old man, whose identity remains unconfirmed, was involved in an incident in the vicinity of Beyoncé and Jay-Z in Southampton. According to police reports, the individual was driving his car into the entrance door of a property. Officers noted that the driver appeared disoriented and failed to stop before the locked gate, continuing to proceed at high speed along the road.
He was reportedly intoxicated and subsequently transported to the hospital. Following the incident, the police issued him a fine for unlawful entry and causing a disturbance. Detective Jennifer Dan of “Page Six” confirmed that the 63-year-old, who is from the Bronx, has no prior criminal record.
Dan stated that the man seemed to be searching for the location of the crime scene as well as his own apartment. She added that he did not appear to fall for any threats or imitations of perpetrators. Regarding the incident, she suggested it might be a coincidence, noting that the man was experiencing health problems at the time.
The investigation remains active. The report indicates that the man did not jaywalk, and the focus remains on the circumstances surrounding the use of the car.
