The Ministry of Local Self-Government and the Agency for Innovation, Scientific Development and Entrepreneurship (INOVA) are spearheading a strategic initiative aimed at revitalizing the development of local self-government. A key component of this effort is the “Months of Internships” program, scheduled to commence in August and September. This program is designed to move students beyond the role of passive observers, positioning them as active contributors to enhancing local self-government operations.

Through this initiative, participating students will engage directly with the practical work undertaken by local self-government bodies. The Agency for Innovation, Scientific Development and Entrepreneurship will coordinate the integration of these students across several key governmental departments. These collaborating entities include the Ministry of Local Self-Government, the Resource Center for Local Self-Government, the Ministry of Education and Science, and the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare.

The collaboration signifies a structured effort to bridge academic knowledge with practical administrative experience. By involving students directly in the operational aspects of local self-government, the program seeks to foster a deeper understanding of governance structures at the community level. This hands-on approach is intended to inject new energy and practical insights into the ongoing development and improvement of local self-government services.
