The ballet studio “Anabela” from Veles secured the world championship title at the Athens Ballet Studio World Dance Festival (WADF) Championship in Athens, Greece, in 2026. The international competition featured participation from teams representing 24 countries. The group choreography titled “Trisch Trasch Polka” was the winning piece, earning the studio the title of World Champion and securing first place in its respective category.
The successful choreography was created by Dora Pajdakovic, who is currently a student at the Faculty of Music Education, Department of Ballet Pedagogy, specializing in Classical Ballet. The performance showcased the talents of young ballet dancers Mia Pevnska, Iskra Ivanovska, Milana Andovska, and Alexa Andovska. The event in Athens marked a significant achievement for the Veles studio on the world stage of ballet.
