CU: Up to 18:00 13 fires on open space, two are active, 11 extinguished

The Center for Crisis Management (CMC) reported that as of 18:00 hours on June 30, 2026, a total of 13 fires were recorded across the country’s open spaces. Of these incidents, two remained active while the remaining eleven had been successfully extinguished. The CMC specified the locations of the ongoing fires.

One active incident is situated in the Ohrid Municipality, specifically in the village of Mesheishhte, where low vegetation is currently burning. Another active fire is located within the Veles Municipality, near the Veles-Stip highway. This second incident involves the combustion of low shrubbery, dry grass, and brambles.

The report detailed several areas where the fires were brought under control. In the Šuto Oržari Municipality, the fires near Gidi Commerz and Vizbegovo, which involved manure and dry grass, have been extinguished. Similarly, in the Zelenikovo Municipality, the blaze in the village of Strahojadica, which burned shrubbery, dry grass, and manure, is out.

Furthermore, the CMC confirmed that the fires in the Kisela Voda Municipality, at the Razadnik settlement on “Boris T” street, have also been successfully controlled. These updates provide a comprehensive overview of the situation regarding the open space fires, indicating the operational status of emergency response efforts across multiple municipalities.
