On June 27, 2026, the police conducted multiple operations regarding vehicle compliance in the Patot Gostivar-Tetovo area. Initial reports indicated that two drivers were detained in the village of Vasa for operating a vehicle within a prohibited zone. Later that day, at approximately 11:30 a.m.
at the Patot Gostivar-Tetovo, police officers from the Pateni Protection Station detained two individuals. These persons, identified as V.M. (30) from the village of Bogovinje, were reportedly operating a Mercedes-Benz vehicle bearing Tivat registration marks and were found driving in an area restricted for public traffic.
A subsequent incident occurred at 12:30 p.m. at the same location. The police again took action, this time detaining two additional drivers.
These individuals, identified as Tivat and M.D. (55) from the village of Falishe, were observed driving a Volkswagen vehicle with Tivat registration marks while operating within a prohibited zone. In total, multiple instances occurred throughout the day where the police intervened.
In all documented cases, the individuals involved were deprived of their freedom at the scene. Following these operations, all detained drivers were transported to the local police station for processing.
