Vasilevska: SDSM calculates with the vote of the reform laws

According to Ivanka Vasilevska, the SDSM has reportedly been advocating for the passage of reform laws through the Assembly for several months. The statement suggests that the SDSM has also been actively gathering signatures related to a European integration project, positioning itself as a primary proponent of the country’s alignment with European standards. However, Vasilevska highlighted a procedural discrepancy: despite the perceived urgency, the SDSM has reportedly refrained from bringing these laws to a formal vote in the Assembly, opting instead for what she characterized as political maneuvering.

This critique was issued during a press conference. In contrast to the perceived delay concerning the reform legislation, Vasilevska noted that the Assembly had recently addressed and adopted other significant legal decisions. These measures, she pointed out, were crucial for the effective implementation of the national budget that was approved the previous day.

The discussion centered on the procedural readiness for the vote on key reforms. The comments from Vasilevska underscore a disagreement regarding the legislative timetable, contrasting the sustained push for European integration measures by the SDSM with the legislative actions already taken by the governing body on other critical matters.
