Multiple active fires have been reported across several areas, primarily involving the burning of low vegetation. The management of the crisis is being overseen by the Center for Crisis Management (CUK). Specifically, active incidents have been confirmed in the regions of Vasilevo and Prilep.
In Vasilevo, one fire was reported on the territory of the village of Nova Mala. Meanwhile, in Prilep, another active fire was located at the site known as “Markovska Čemša.”
Beyond these primary locations, CUK has also noted other areas affected by burning. Deposits in the village of Bansko, located within the municipality of Strumica, have burned.
Furthermore, smoke from low vegetation and beech forests was reported in the population of “Sveti Nedil,” which falls under the municipality of Prilep. The reports indicate that the fires are affecting varied types of natural environments, ranging from low scrub to forest areas. Authorities are monitoring the situation to manage the spread and impact of the blazes across these multiple sites.
